Every payment goes to the right connection, by your rules.

Write rules with amount range, instalment, currency and channel conditions. When no rule applies, your connection priority is used. The reason for each decision is recorded on every attempt.

Card conditions (card network, programme, BIN) are not used: the card is entered on the provider page, and routing happens before that.

Decisions are predictable and traceable.

You never have to guess where a payment went.

  • Ordered rules

Rules are tried in order; the first rule whose conditions match picks the first eligible connection from its list.

  • Try-out tool

The "Where would this payment go?" tool shows the decision without sending a request to the provider.

  • Reason on record

Every attempt stores the chosen connection, the candidates and the excluded ones with reasons.

  • Skipped after technical failure

When the customer retries, the connection that failed technically for that payment is skipped.

How does it work?

Eligible connections are filtered, then rules are tried in order.

  1. Step 1: Eligibility

Active connections open to the mode that support the currency and the requested instalment become candidates.

  2. Step 2: Rules

The first matching rule picks the first eligible connection in its list.

  3. Step 3: Priority

If no rule applies, connections are considered in priority order.

  4. Step 4: Record

The decision and reason are written to the attempt and shown in the payment detail.

No code needed to write rules.

Rules are defined in a drawer in the panel and ordered with up and down arrows. A disabled rule is switched off without being deleted.

  • Conditions: amount range, currency, instalments, channel (API, link, panel)
  • 1–10 connections per rule, in order
  • Up to 50 rules per mode
  • Creating, toggling and reordering rules is audited
  • The decision is stored on the payment attempt with its reason

Frequently asked questions

Can the cheapest connection be picked automatically by commission?

Not today. Routing follows the rules you write and your priority. Smart routing by commission, instalment and settlement-date rules is on the roadmap.

If a connection fails, does the payment move to another connection?

There is no automatic switch, to avoid the risk of charging the same card twice. When the customer retries, the connection that had a technical start failure for that payment is skipped and the next eligible connection is chosen.

Are rules shared between test and live mode?

No, each mode has its own rules. Rules you try in test mode are defined separately for live.
