On the roadmap

Manage dealer collections centrally.

For companies with a dealer network, we are planning a module that brings dealer, sub-user, collection and customer records together. We are defining its scope with pilot businesses.

This module is not built yet. Today you can follow collections per dealer with payment links, customer records and external references.

Planned scope.

From the module definition in the README; to be prioritised by the needs measured in pilots.

  • Dealer accounts

A separate collection view and sub-users for each dealer.

  • Permissions

Dealers see only their own collections and customers.

  • Central report

All dealers' collections in one report, broken down by dealer.

  • Shared connections

Dealer collections through the head office's virtual POS connections.

How can you start today?

Dealer collections with the existing tools until the module arrives.

  1. Step 1: A link per dealer

Create a separate payment link for each dealer or invoice.

  2. Step 2: External reference

Write your dealer code on the customer record as the external reference.

  3. Step 3: Metadata

Carry dealer details in the metadata field of sessions opened through the API.

  4. Step 4: Report

Export payments and filter them by dealer.

Tell us what you need.

We want to set the scope of the dealer collections module by real needs. If you share your number of dealers, collection frequency and current process, we can include you in the pilot plan.

  • The module is on the roadmap; no date is given
  • Today: payment links, customer records, metadata
  • Scope is being defined with pilot businesses
  • The central connection and reporting structure stays

Frequently asked questions

When will the dealer module arrive?

We do not give a date. The module is on the roadmap and its priority will be set by the needs measured with pilot businesses.

Can my dealers use Efespay today?

Separate accounts and permissions for dealers do not exist today. You can create a payment link per dealer from your head office account and keep the dealer details on the customer record or in the metadata field.

How do funds flow in dealer collections?

Efespay does not hold funds. Collection happens into the business's account on the connected provider's infrastructure; dealer settlements and distribution fall under the provider and your contract.
